Warranty – Ordinary maintenance

The products must be used in accordance with the Product Use and Maintenance Manual which is provided when the product is sold by the company, retailer or distributor.

In particular, chapter 9 deals with the Ordinary bicycle maintenance program which must be carried out to keep the bicycle in full working order. Failure to comply with the aforementioned program and the traceability requirements of maintenance operations is one of the possible causes of forfeiture of the conventional product warranty.

 

PRODUCT AND COMPONENT MAINTENANCE PROGRAM

1.After the first 200 km traveled and in any case every year (by the authorized LOSA dealer)

The first inspection is particularly important for safety purposes and allows to check for any problems. Always contact your authorized dealer for the first inspection.

Inspect the following parts:

  • tires and wheels

Couples:

  • stem
  • pipe
  • crank
  • seat
  • pedals
  • riding
  • mounting screws

Make all possible adjustments to the following components:

  • Headset
  • Exchange
  • brake

Check the absence of visible cracks on all carbon components (frame, fork, seat post, handlebar curve, carbon rims)

 

2. Every 500 km (you can do it yourself if properly trained and with the right detergents)

To verify:

  • chain
  • pinion
  • exchange
  • belt drive
  • look
  • brake pads / pads for wear (if necessary, replace)

Pulizia:

  • chain
  • pinion
  • exchange
  • belt drive

Lubrication:

  • the chain with a specific lubricant

Inspect the following parts::

  • screw joints

Check the absence of visible cracks on all carbon components (frame, fork, seat post, handlebar curve, carbon rims)

 

3. Every 3,000 km (by the authorized LOSA dealer)

Operations to be carried out

Have the following components checked, cleaned or replaced by your specialist dealer:

  • hubs
  • change
  • pedals
  • brake
  • headset

Check the absence of visible cracks on all carbon components (frame, fork, seat post, handlebar curve, carbon rims)

 

MAINTENANCE REPORT TO BE COMPLETED

Maintenance activities must be crystallized through the maintenance report format ( ANNEX 2 – ORDINARY MAINTENANCE REPORT ) present in the Manual of use and maintenance of the Products . The maintenance activities carried out by the authorized LOSA dealer must always be accompanied also by the relative fiscal receipt / invoice relating to the service performed which must be stapled / attached to the maintenance report to be filled out .
