Valtulini began his racing career in 2006 with the minibikes, racing until 2008 with this type of motorcycles at a youth level, both in the Italian championship but also in the European one. In 2009 he moved on to racing with the MiniGP, always in the Italian and European championships, continuing with this type of bike also in 2010.

In 2011 he runs the Red Bull Rookies Cup, a championship that ends in 11th position with 78 points, at the same time he also takes part in the CIV in the 125 class, which ends 12th with 33 points. In 2012 he ranked third in the Italian championship in the Moto3 class with 112 points, achieving two podium finishes and one pole as important results over the course of the season. Also in the same season he made his debut in the world championship, taking part as a wild cardal GP of San Marino, a race that ended in 24th place.

He continued in the Italian championship also in 2013, when he finished fifth in the championship with 135 points, also winning a race. Still in the national championship, he finished sixth with 73 points in 2014, moreover in this year he is one of the protagonists of Motorhome – Piloti di famiglia, a docu-reality broadcast by MTV.

In 2015 he moved to the Spanish championship in the Moto3 class, racing for the SIC58 Squadra Corse team and finishing eighth with 81 points. [3] He returns to compete in the world championship in 2016, this time as a starting rider, racing in the Moto3 class with a Mahindra MGP3O of 3570 Team Italia; his teammate is Lorenzo Petrarca. He closes the season in 34th place with three points to his credit, totaling thirteenth place in Malaysia. In 2017 he ran in the Supersport Italian Speed ​​Championship, finishing sixth, as in 2018 when he won three Grands Prix and took part in a race in the Supersport World Championship, racing, as a wild card, the Misano Grand Prix riding a Kawasaki ZX-6R of the Pleo Racing team. In 2019 he disputes the third consecutive season in the CIV, again with Kawasaki, finishing in eighth place.

In 2020 he continues in the CIV Supersport with the Kawasaki of the Black Flag Motorsport team, with which he places third with 111 points conquered. It also participates, as a wild card, in the Aragon Grand Prix in the Supersport world championship without obtaining any points.

He continues his adventure in CIV Supersport also in 2021, changing both teams and bikes. He joins Nicola Settimo on the Yamaha YZF-R6 of Team Rosso Corsa.
